Session 1: Creating Trauma Sensitive & Healing Environments In Schools

Location: Willmar Education & Arts Center

Details: Learn to create trauma-sensitive environments that support youth and staff. Dr. Sander will explain how adversity impacts development and share strategies to build resiliency. Attendees will explore shifting from punitive discipline to compassionate accountability and gain tools to better support youth and show up as their best selves.

Session 2: Creating Trauma Sensitive & Healing Environments

Time: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Location: Willmar Conference Center

Details: Dr. Sander will share a framework for creating trauma-sensitive environments and explain how adversity impacts youth development. Learn ways to build resiliency, support youth who have experienced adversity, and strengthen relationships that foster growth while showing up as your best self.
