Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is designed to give you skills to help someone who is developing a mental health challenge or crisis. Just as CPR training helps someone without medical training assist an individual following a heart attack, this course helps a layperson assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis. Learn how to recognize the potential risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, and how to connect someone who may be dealing with a mental health challenge with appropriate resources.
This is a FREE class sponsored by Presbytery of the Twin Cities Area. Registration is required by October 24, 2024 as there is pre-work (1.5 hours) required before attending the in-person training. If interested in attending, please contact Kay King at [email protected]. Space is limited.
