I Am Safe Training: Trauma-Responsive Practices to Support Mental Health
This training is designed for educators, therapists, mental health practitioners, and parents who are looking for practical, accessible ways to support child, teen, and adult mental health.
While mind-body strategies—such as breathing, movement, and relaxation—are widely recognized as helpful during times of stress, it can sometimes feel challenging to practice or share these tools, especially with children, teens, or adults who may be hesitant to try them.
In this day-long training (which includes a copy of the second printing of I Am Safe), participants will:
- Experience simple, accessible mind-body practices for both professional and personal use
- Explore trauma-responsive teaching tips and key messages that help increase buy-in
- Gain insight from real-life teaching stories based on over a decade of sharing these practices with children, youth, families, and staff
Participants can attend in person or via Zoom.
