Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) for Agricultural Communities
NAMI Minnesota and the Upper Midwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center (UMASH) are partnering to provide suicide prevention classes tailored to farming communities. Our aim is to change the public perception in agricultural communities and better equip the community to identify and help people who may be having thoughts of suicide. QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) is a 1.5 hour suicide prevention training that teaches individuals the three steps anyone can take to help prevent a suicide. This class has been approved by the Board of Social Work to provide 1.5 CEUs upon completion. This class meets the continuing education requirement for teachers.
This is a virtual training. Registration is required.
